How to Copy Folders Shared with Youby jasmine malia
Why Copy a Shared Folder?
You would want to copy a folder shared with you on Google Drive if you need to make a personal, editable copy of the files within that folder, allowing you to modify them without affecting the original shared version; this is especially useful when you want to work on a project independently, make changes specific to your needs, or need to retain a local backup of the shared files even if access to the original shared folder is revoked later on.

Rename Your Folder Copy
If you give the folder you copied a new name, it will be easier to differentiate from the original one.
